Very good food. The burgers have big patties, they aren't messing around. Bit expensive but definitely worth. Only tried a couple rolls but both were good.
Sushi was sooooo good, I recommend the Hawaiian Tuna and Rock Shrimp rolls. Really wanted to try the burgers (which looked really good too) but was too full from all the sushi ????
We've been here a lot. Order from the burger counter. Their burgers, sandwiches, and Hawaiian style rice bowls are the best things there and most or all of it isn't on the sit down menu. The sushi side is your typical LA strip mall sushi: above average and more expensive than it seems. The main problem with the sushi side is that the servers are nice, but table service is always slow, inefficient and error-prone.
The sushi is amazing. The curb appeal, entrance, and cheap soda shop dining ambience will throw you off. Honestly, I wondered if I had the right address. Take the chance. I bring business guests here for dinner. On my last visit one of my business associates said, "Now I have a good reason to look for excuses to fly down from San Francisco on a day trip." Order anything with truffle oil, and the lemon roll will make your taste buds dance the boogie.
Very diverse menu, with everything from Sushi (with a dedicated sushi staff) to chili burgers. I enjoyed my burger and my sushi, onion rings were great as well. It seems to be a very popular local eatery with a lot of walk-in traffic and ample seating inside.
