They have pretty good food. Entree was freshly made. Good prices and friendly service.

Hole in the wall Chinese Food. The flavor of the food was fine. Service was good if a bit quirky. Definitely a locals place. The hostess/server welcomed people she knew like family. So to part I really didnt want to write. This place was rated 4.6 stars at the time I went. Definitely had high hopes for having good Chinese in an unfamiliar area. Possibly finding that new favorite spot. Unfortunately, it didnt turn out that way.

While the service was great and the people, familiar, the ambiance was severly lacking. 4 or 5 booths on the west side and rows of oddly arranged tables on the east, it makes for a tough time for seating. I had someone sit 2 seats down from me and he was mistaken as someone in my party because our tables were together. The silverware was questionable and the plates were definately high milage. As far as my food went, the fried rice was on the dry side and my walnut shrimp had ZERO walnuts. Given everything else, i didnt think it worth mentioning to the hostess.

Overall score a 3 because its nice to see neighborhood local spots still making it work...

Food is excellent. I love their wonton soup!
