Original Tommy's Hamburgers

I love Tommy's but for some reason i can only go to their original location in LA. Its always busy there no matter what time of day/night. Busy means none of their chili sits in a warmer pot thingy all day long and night. Busy means just about everything will be fresher. So i stay away from other locations until I head to Rampart.

burgers and the setting here is super good. I love this place. The staff was friendly and sociable. The bill was reasonable. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.

Definitely had an amazing experience here yesterday. Waiter helped us out and made really great suggestions on food and drinks. Really nice vibe inside, we were welcomed immediately. We had the hamburgers and chili cheese fries. It was really delicious... will definitely be returning and bringing more people to join us.

Speaking only about the food, hands down one of the BEST burgers I've had in my entire life and I LOVE burgers. Great flavors, huge portions, never get my medium rare preparedness wrong. But okay those loaded potato skins are just completely out of this world. CHUNKS of fatty pork belly with the quail egg on top and that SAUCE is perfection. I have nothing to say about the location and service as everyone else has that covered.

Customer service was excellent. Workers were very nice. Atmosphere was very homely. There are only counters to eat standing up, but this place has a history and everyone feels at home while standing and eating their chili hamburgers. I would recommend getting the hamburgers with cheese, since mine without seemed to be lacking that flavor.
