George's Burger Stand

I went to George's little over 6 months ago and was slightly disappointed in the burger and onion rings. Burger was OK, a little greasy, but not terrible. Onion rings made me sad and turned me off of them for a while; not crunchy or hot all the way through as if they were sitting out or not cooked thoroughly from their pre-made frozen state. Hearing they went back to the basics with new management, I visited last week. What a difference! Solid burger with fresh tasting ingredients. Nothing fancy but definitely hit the "I need a good burger" craving. Beer battered onion rings are bomb; crunchy, crispy, light, piping hot. Hoping it wasn't just luck, I went back today for some more rings and they are still great! They also go well with the milkshake.

For a simple, no-frills burger spot this was killer. The meat was great, fries were perfect, staff was kind and I really want to go back for the breakfast burrito. A lot of places like this are very blah, but George's clearly cares about the ingredients they put into the food and how they prepare everything. Would highly recommend this spot for a quick bite ????????

Is it rejuvenation if you bring it back to how it was in the good old days? Food for thought.
