I ate there on 2/22 for the 1st time and managed to watch a great game between the Rockets and Lakers but more importantly I had great food to go with the game. I ordered the dinner special which came with wings that were cooked to perfection and 2 sides which were mac & cheese along with rice and beans. No complaints about the mac & cheese, rice, or beans at all. The cornbread that was served with all of that food was delicious as hell. Another plus about Comfort Food is you don't wait or pay for small portions of food. I'll definitely be back and if you guys are in the area I highly recommend it whether it's for 2 people or more the food was as great as the atmosphere.

Stopped by here en route to the Arts District, looking for some soul food. It's a small cozy spot with good vibes all around. I got their lunch box of wings and fries, and holy cow it hit the spot. The honey-based coating was a perfect accompaniment to the rest of the food. The chicken was no doubt above average, but I just loved the fries. Would absolutely stop by again when I get the chance!

I tried this place because it was recommended to me by an associate.This places is a small restaurant. The food is OK .The chicken wings are small and the sides weren't all that good. I definitely did not like the macaroni and cheese, but each is on. I like the ambience of the restaurant it has A piano to play, board games,Domino's, and cards that you can play while waiting for your food or after you eat your food.

Great good. Portions we're actually perfect, especially their Mac n cheese! I can't tell you how many places will sham you and give suck small portions of Mac cheese, but here they give very reasonable and good serving sizes. The hot sauce is so good, I wanted to buy a bottle of it that they had. Also try out the Ginger-Aid, it is very refreshing!
