Awesome food. Staff is great, I would give 5 stars if the happy hour menu included at least one specialty roll but other than that it’s my favorite sushi place.
Very solid The Little IZAKA-YA by KATSU-YA bowls here. We didn't try any sides, but our friends did and they looked pretty good as well. I think I prefer the The Little IZAKA-YA by KATSU-YA at Los Angeles,CA a bit more, but this was good enough that I wouldn't complain either way. One small complaint -- green teas were $6 a pop and we all ordered them without looking at the menus. It was good, but too expensive IMO.
Very good “intro to Japanese food” place as they have dishes that might please people who haven’t had a lot of sushi and Japanese cuisine before. Their tempura-based dishes are great. Prices are fair. Sushi dishes were ok but not the greatest, nothing wrong but was a bit disappointed with the quality of the fish but then again if you want higher quality it’s gonna cost more. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere/decoration felt a bit cheap, lights are too bright. I’d recommend making a reservation as it seemed very busy.
The waiting was about for 30 min if you can do a reservation is better.
Sushi is delicious, great customer service.
The only bad thing is that there's no parking, there's parking in the back but it was full.
What a fantastic little sushi spot! The hostess/owner was so lovely and we and our guests from Japan were totally satisfied by the great food and cozy atmosphere. If the short rib is available, it's so juicy and flavorful...not to be missed. The gyoza were on point as well as the large variety of sushi dishes we had. And finally, there was divine green tea tempura for dessert. Do not hesitate, great stuff.
