The line was over 2 hours long but I braced it... and it was with it! Can't say that every time. I'm a big fan of hot so when I got to the front of the line I ordered an X-Hot sandwich. The guys eyes bugged out and the next thing out of his mouth was "have you ever atr here before?" I hadn't, so he tried to explain how they use Ghost Peppers but I told him I'd eaten those before so he went inside and had one of the guys behind the counter bring me a sample. X-Hot, while good was way too damn hot to eat and still enjoy your food. I settled for a Hot sandwich and got a lemonade so I could get refills as needed. I ended up getting fist bumps from the staff as I picked up my food because I didn't flinch when I ate the sample or cry out for a drink. The truth was, I was trying to hurry up my order after that because I was developing the hick-ups and I wanted my cup more than anything.

TL;DR - line was forever but food was really really good, the staff was high energy friendly/helpful and if you like heat this is the place to go. Would definitely come again... but maybe not on a Sat/Sun afternoon during peak.

I couldn't believe my eyes when we were driving by to this place. The line was long and it wrapped around the blocks. By the time we started to order the foods, it took us almost 2 and a half hours. It was worth the wait. We ordered half bird it cost $16.00 , and a sandwich for $12.00. They were so nice to throw in Chicken waffles, for free. Chick meat was so tender and juicy, no complaints there. Let's me tell you the services were awesome and superb. Their spicy was out of this world. Don't try hot and above if you are not a fan, because you will have problems. Overall, this is the best Chicken I have.

The staff is extremely fun and friendly! They make it a really fun and amazing place to go to. Even with hundreds of customers they still remember me from the week before! Their chicken is very juicy and has a lot of amazing flavors packed inside of it. If you don’t want to wait very long get here at around 8:30 or 9 on a weekend and you’ll get in by 11. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is really delicious, the service is great now why the bad review? Well the line is ridiculous and it's not so great that it's "worth the wait". The hot chicken is flavorful but the heat takes away rather than adds to the flavor. As a Mexican I love heat, but am used to heat that ADDS flavor to food rather than kills it. I think the chicken is tender and delicious but I don't think I'll ever come back to this place ever again, there's plenty of places with shorter lines. Best, Lupe A a native L.A. woman.

What can be said about this establishment that hasn't been said already?

If you're a fan of fried chicken, this is your place. Especially if you like it spicy because you can customize your level with any item. The fried chicken sandwich is the most popular item and I would say, the best bang for your buck.

They serve fried chicken + waffles only on the weekends.

The lines are crazy and there's no going around it unless you're best friends with Johnny, the owner of the shop. The customer service is impeccable and cannot be compared. Lines start forming an hour before they open (or even earlier) so be sure to get there EARLY. The wait is almost always 1+ hours.

Recommended seating: on the stores right in front of the open kitchen. Trust me. This is the best seat in the house. You're welcome in advance.

Parking is plentiful on the street or underground.

P.S. there are eateries and coffee places in the same Plaza that could hold you over while you are waiting in line.
