We've been her multiple times. We had the following:
* Lamb Burger (cooked Medium well) with pickled Jalapeños and pickled Red Onions, sweet potato Fries (crispy skin on the outside and perfectly cooked in the inside) you'll get and Garlic Aioli dipping sauce, downed with Taj IPA. This is for the person that likes a kick with their food.
* The Burger (cooked medium well) with arugula roasted red peppers with regular fries.
The place is small but service really good and table open up quickly. They recommend to order first before sitting. A great burger place with lots of add on options like (picked Jalapeños, red onions, fried egg, etc. ) they also have various choices of beers. I
Burger was very good - I would eat it again any day. All the employees were accommodating and mellow. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I paid $27 for a burger and a beer. I know it’s LA - but thats a bit steep.
Burgers live up to the hype. It's counter service which is a huge plus, too. No. Waiting for tables or tipping. Beer selection is equally good. $16 for a burger is pricey but it's a cost that makes sense with the quality ingredient and thus meal you get.
This is a hamburger joint that is more than a hamburger joint.
It is one of those order-at-the-counter, and they bring you your food places.
But they have a lot of offerings which are not just a little unusual, they are THOUGHTFULLY unusual.
( It seems to me, that these days, many restaurants throw in exotic or unexpected ingredients just to make them seem special, when it doesn't necessarily make them better. Or even good :)
It has a genuine neighborhood vibe , good energy without being crazy noisy, and if you are a meat eater try the lamb-burger!
This place is one of the best burger places in
Los Angeles. It is a little pricy but it is worth it
The guy at the register was very nice and gave a free drink because we come here often and I gave them a 2 star review but regret that this place deserves more credit. The fries now have fried garlic. The best.
