ROC Playa Vista

ROC is up there with the likes of Din Tai Fung, with a much shorter wait. Chicken fried rice is a must. Garlic String Beans is super tasty. Spicy pork dumplings is a staple. Pricing is very fair.

I love ROC. We regularly get the crispy chicken potstickers, the chicken soup dumplings, the green beans (if you love garlic like I do, these are for you!) Aaaand the 3 cup chicken. No matter what we always seem to order too much food. ????

I am completely addicted to ROC's dumplings and frequent their delivery. The staff here is on top on it and everything always comes out fresh and piping hot. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and have never been disappointed, but my go to dishes are the pan fried chicken dumplings, veggie fried rice, popcorn chicken, sauteed shrimp and always the egg flower soup...its incredible!

The name ROC gives no clue on the type of restaurant this is. Even most the employees are are Latinos. It's an Asian dumpling restaurant...and it's pretty darn authentic and taste good. Prices are a bit cheaper than a well known Asian chain.

Super good place but SALTY AF and GARLICY AF, too! The service was terrific. Our server was a very nice and tall Aussie who guided us through the ordering and eating process like a champion. She was awesome. The crab rice and crab & pork soup dumplings were dope. I loved everything but next time I will request less or no garlic on the veggies! Nobody is kissing this grill after tonight's meal.
