The Counter

I recall The Counter burgers being made well enough but not as good as other places I've been to. Still, their quality meat makes The Counter a worthwhile place to stop for a burger bite. Their service leaves much to be desired.

Smaller footprint than expected but plenty of seating even during the lunch hour. They let you customize burgers but they also have preset burger designs. The only downside is the limited parking. There is a lot in the back but it's shared by several business and can get full quick. Also they only validate for 1 hour so you may end up having to pay a few bucks to park.

One of the best Gourmet artisan burger chains in LA. A bit pricey but all customizable and mouthwateringly tasty. Highly recommend! Great service too!

It's been a little bit since we've been to a Counter. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was about the same as you'd expect from The Counter, but the service was even better. We had 3 kids with us and the staff was very accommodating and even brought us crayons & cups with lids for the kids without hesitation. Seeing that the kids were hungrier than us they brought the kids food out first and then the parents food. Very helpful!! Thank you!

I must say the service here is EXCEPTIONAL! I just ordered a salad to go and when I got back to the office and opened the box there was just meat and a handful of lettuce in the box. Initially I was upset and called the location and the server Zach answered the phone and immediately spoke with his boss and had them deliver me extra kale for my salad! I was beyond impressed and have been RAVING about their service all day!!! And the food was really good!! This location will ALWAYS have my service :)
