The food here is delicious. They get their tortillas from Boyle Heights and they don't hold out on the meat. Must try.

The Aztec hot chocolate was great. A bit spicy for my taste. I didn't like that they upcharged me for ordering a flour tortilla burrito. 50 cent extra for flour. Bring a big appetite or share.

Really good and interesting food. Order at the counter format means we spent some time standing in line trying to pick through the many pages of the extensive menu, but in the end, everything we ordered was delicious. Very attentive and helpful staff - let our parry of 4 have a secluded back booth for 6.

Could have been better IMO... I probably should gone with the tacos but I got a wet burrito and that was a mistake. The meat, rice and beans were good but the red sauce on top was not, way to think and potent, it was not hot just to thick and the favor was to strong and it did a number on my stomach! Not good. It’s also really pricey. The green enchilada were really good tho and so were the chips and dip and the horchata was one of the next I’ve had. The atmosphere was also on point. This would be a good place to have a few beers and tacos but there strong blends of spices and sauces are not for everyone.

Local neighborhood favorite is authentic and rich with homemade goodness. Flavors and spices are spot on. Salsas are fresh and brimming with taste you want to lick the bowl. Fresh made corn tortillas, chips, and mole sauces top their favorites along with choices of duck, seafood, and traditional meats adorn their menu. The Mexican hot chocolate will also kick your butt.
