Pioneer Chicken

Today I ordered 2 piece basket... includes one side...I got French fries for the side... one piece of chicken, a leg was delicious and hot... the other was a thigh but was hard and tough... I returned it and they gave me another thigh. But not after they said...oh the thighs are all the same.. because it's cooked at a certain temperature... in other words expect it to be the same... but Wrong!!! It was hot and tender... just like many times before... so today they get 3 stars... I'm sure next time it will be 5 stars....like many times before...

My parents use to bring me here as a child and well after trying it again it brought so many nostalgic feelings back. It's still delicious and affordable. Quick service and good customer service. Will definitely be visiting soon.

Pioneer Chicken is usually good but lately it's dry. Like it's overcook no inside juicyness. The worker are always nice

It was a good meal and very big. Loved the taste. But it was a bit expensive. Had chicken, mashed potato with gravy, and coleslaw. It was in the best company. Yummy, it was like a treat.

Ordered the #9. Chicken was perfectly cooked, although the skin was crispy it was a tad greasy. Coleslaw and spicy rice were perfect, the biscuit was ridiculously fluffy, more of a buttered cloud than a biscuit! Fast service, polite staff, super clean dining area. Tapatio hot sauce available for the tables, and even though I love that brand, an option of a vinegar based hot sauce would make more sense.
