Oh! Oh! Sushi & Teriyaki

Good food and great service! Chicken was slightly undercooked in the bento box but everything else was great!

We were in Van Nuys and I asked my husband, "Do you want to go for some cheap sushi?" He said yes, so we checked out this place. It's a little restaurant in a strip mall with El Pollo Loco. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. It's popular for take out as well. I ordered the tempura bento and my husband got the gyoza bento. Everything ranged from pretty good to very good, especially considering the price: under $30 for two people. The gyoza was especially good, although I prefer steamed not fried. The nigiri was pretty good. My husband loved the California rolls. The service was very good, although there weren't many people for them to deal with, since we went to lunch around 2:30 on a weekday.

Best sushi place. We come regularly. Would recommend the baked salmon roll or Mexico city roll. If you want teriyaki the combinations are great, they come with tempura, rice, steamed veggies and California rolls. And if you want soup, I would recommend the spicy ramen with egg. And if you dine in, you get a free miso ????????
