Incredible Mexican comfort food from Michoacan

All made with love, legit Mexican spice and by hand (tortillas)

Had their menudo, birria plate, flautas, dope, gorditas and bistec ranchero. All were very delicious and their rice and beans are authentic, NOT from a can.

If you stop by, bring and appetite as you will want to keep trying more and more of their menu! Very reasonable on the wallet too!

GOOD HOMEMADE MEXICAN(Michoacan Style) FOOD!

Yes the spot is ugly and can use a serious makeover, but the food is soooooo darn delicious. Now the one to go to is the one on Victory Blvd. All the waiters we've had, are great. They give you exactly what you ask for. That, in my opinion is what it takes to make a restaurant work at it's best. The other place on Kester and Sherman Way, they lack in regards to giving you your order correctly. They always seem distracted, and quite awkward to say the least. The PLUS for me is that their beans and rice are VEGAN. YES, VEGAN! They NEVER use chicken bouillon when they cook their rice. They only use salt to season. Their refried or blended beans, only have vegetable vegetable shortening NOT LARD. This is incredible for a Mexican food spot. 99% of Mexican food places use chicken bouillon and lard. So I get to enjoy these two options and it feels good!

Eating at their 3 locations for over 20 years. The tacos are my favorite. Soups were good but way too expensive (10.98) the beans and rice are good but they should serve a bit more per plate.

Totally authentic! If you want good Mexican food this is the place. Ive been coming here for the past 20 years. Love it!
