Pizza Buona

Hands down the best pizza in LA. Real Chicago style pizza. I haven't found any pizza close to the pizza from home til I discovered Pizza Buona. This place is the real Deal! Very small dine in area. I suggest carry out. Somewhat pricey but worth it.

Must eat the pizza hot. I've taken the pizza to go and it has a tendency of getting cold quickly and being that the pizza is very thick it's best to eat it piping hot. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza. However if you like garlic and clams go for that pizza. Bring cash because they don't take card. Be prepared to wait in line. Staff is very friendly. I recommend taking a lyft or Uber.

The service was amazing, the server was polite and friendly and she was super quick in bringing our order. We had the pastrami sandwich and lasagna. You gotta try the pastrami sandwich, it's amazing. the lasagna was great too but I just love pastrami so I say you gotta try the pastrami sandwich. Sitting is limited.

I really wanted to give 5 stars here, and it was close. I ordered through Grubhub, and the delivery arrived 10 minutes early which was nice. They also followed the delivery instructions thoroughly. The wings are DELICIOUS. Wow. Some of the best I've had. Crispy skin, and really tender meat. I ordered the hot sauce and ranch on the side. So if you like buffalo sauce, definitely order the hot sauce.

The only thing that held me back from 5 stars was the crust on the thin crust pizza I ordered was a little tough. Not sure if the thin crust is their specialty, so next time I will probably try the regular crust, but otherwise the pizza was delicious.

A really lovely Italian restaurant. The people who run the place are extremely friendly. Location is small, so be aware this would not be the best place to take a large party of people. But for takeout or small groups, this is lovely! I recommend the eggplant sandwich in particular. As a vegetarian who misses meatball subs, this hits the spot.
