Flavor Table

Man! Let me tell you.... I've been driving by this place for a long while. But the line was too long, so I didn't want to brave that wait. But when I tell you that the wait was well worth it!!! From the ambience, to the great customer service. The food is impeccable. I was thoroughly impressed. This place has gained a new customer. I may come weekly, if my schedule permits. Sorry, there's no pics of the food, but I dived into it as soon as the plate hit the table. But hey, I'll take some pics next time I go.

I've eaten many omelettes in my life, many different kinds and I many different places from holes in the wall to fancy, pricey brunch places. But the Shrimp Omelette here is by far the tastiest, most delicious omelette I've ever had. And the potatoes-wow! I went into a blissful food coma about 5 minutes after I walked out of here.

I highly recommend this place. It seems hidden from the outside but once inside you come in contact with nothing but delightful surprises. From many choices I had the Friend Cat Fish and Fried Shrimp combo c/w two eggs, choice grits or country potatoes and home made biscuit. All was delicious. I will be going back.

Very small and quaint. The waiters are very helpful and friendly. So far I've gone three times and each time I have tried something different. The salmon croquettes are a nice size, the smothered potatoes are food. But I'm partial to potatoes. The smothered pork with grits and the short ribs with grits and gravy are good. To be honest the items I've had are all DELICIOUS
I have and will continue to recommend Flavor Table. More restaurants where you can sit down are needed in LA. That are not fast food places. Try Flavor Table if you are in the mood for Southern Creole Food, you won't be disappointed. Mark my words. Oh! The chicken needs a little more seasoning, but we all need to cut back on the salt.

Delicious, fresh and flavorful food. Friendly and prompt service. Restaurant had a nice louisiana vibe and ambiance. Nicely priced and great food portions. Worth every dollar and the visit. Will definitely be going back.
