    I have been in CA for 48 hours and have eaten at TON CHIN 3X already. The Hamakaze Sushi is delicious. I always get the spicy tan tan though I hear the original is great too. The edamame with sea salt are great. The buns are spectacular. The wings are amazing, definitely order the large order. I'll probably be back there tomorrow. It's that good.

    We came around lunch time and we had to wait around 10 minutes for seats which honestly wasn't bad at all for such a hot spot. Waiter was nice and attentive and the Hamakaze Sushi, was amazing. Loved all the different options they offered and I loved the vibe of the restaurant. Very cozy and welcoming.

    I loved coming to this place. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and remember your name which is a rarity now a days. However, the vibe has changed since the ownee retired. I don't come as often as I use to and the selections have changed. The new owner is not as welcoming and is a little rude and clearly not a people person. I miss the old owner and his good spirit
