Fun atmosphere. Food tastes delicious and is authentic. A bit on the pricey side. Souvenirs are available. Over all satisfied with my experience. This Texas girl will definitely come back for more.
The place was nice, service was good. I really wanted to love the tacos but they weren't great. I don't know, it just wasn't what I expected from tacos.
The food looked great but just fell short in my opinion. 3 stars only because it didn't meet my expectations, I'd rather eat tacos somewhere else. Especially for the price. Expensive tacos.
Nice little place off of La Brea. The outdoor area is nice and has a view of the passing cars and the neighborhood. The inside is cozy and has a bar and about seating for four families. A window to see the food being made as well as everything being cleaned up. Lots of Trejo's swag to be found and bought right on location. Staff were busy but still found time to smile and be friendly. The food took a bit to come out, but good food usually does in my opinion. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely come back. The food we ordered couldn't be "ordered to go" because of the way it is prepared, so we had to switch it up but that wasn't a big deal. The only blemish this location has is the parking but the super nice staff and great service coupled with great food made me forget about it..Thanks again see you next trip
Wow. This place is quite unique. The Fried Chicken taco is definitely it's own thing but be aware there is only lettuce as a wrap not a tortilla. Of the chicken variety that's my fave. Their brisket taco is just amazing. It's so well cooked it's like butter. Def try the salmon taco as well, the glaze compliments it so well. Personally I think you get more of their experience with the tacos. The burritos are great but weaken the flavor with all the rice & beans. Great salsa, try the side of corn for sure. Enjoy.
