Eastside Market Italian Deli

I just don't really understand what the whole fuss is about. The sandwich was good but not the best. I would like to have a better choice of bread. The price was fine for what you get.

my friend Marco has been raving about this place for as long as I can remember... just the smell as you walked in the door stated it meant business and is worth all the street cred it is given. I had the #7 and ate half of it and had the other half later that evening... I wanted to try the "DA" sandwich, but it looked like too much. a fellow patron told me to get the "plate" vs the sandwich as they give you more meat... we shall see next time we go!

I got the meatball sandwich for me and a veggie sandwich to go for my wife. I have to say it was pretty good, didn't disappoint at all. The only thing I didn't like was the cops eyeballing me as I walked in, there's so many cops here this place looks like a freaking sheriff station. But if you're not wanted or doing anything illegal you shouldn't have any problems, this place it was great and they didn't even make me pay until after I was done eating.

Great Sandwich Shop. The meatball sandwich is the best in town. The pastrami and roast beef is also a can't miss. Been coming here for years and always will when I'm in the area.

One of the best Italian sandwich shops and deli in Los Angeles. This is a no frill straight to the point sandwich shop. They have great quality meats and pastas; yes they serve pasta dishes. The have a daily soup that is amazing, my recommendation would be the lentil and navy beans which is served on specific days; call to ask for the soup of the day.

The busiest time at this business is between 11:30AM-1PM but worth the wait. Ask for the number 7 its great!
