They have WINE! And juicy, succulent tasty food. Good for families. Can get crowded yet this is one of the non-vegan, carb friendly, fill yo belly an feel good type places in Hollywood. The people who work there are very friendly and cheerful. Outdoor seating as well.

Great burgers. Had the smokeshack and a large lemonade. Really great burger, as expected. Have always heard the fries aren't great so I skipped them. Definitely didn't need them with the burger and drink though. Didn't take terribly long to get our food either. Indoor seating sucks. They put tables absolutely everywhere. In corners. Four inches from the exit. Seriously California. Stop putting a one and a half foot by one and a half foot table with two chairs that doesn't match any of the rest of your seating right by the door with only six inches of chair space. Just, don't put that table out, at all.

I love the shack shack! Best burgers, cheese fries, and shakes ever! This place is always crowded but they are well staffed and keep the line moving. The only problem is that the seating area is woefully inadequate. It is hard to find a place to sit! Get your food to go and then try to find a place to sit on one of the planter areas outside. The Pantages theatre is only a block away so stop by if you are headed to an event. I am getting hungry just thinking about the great food. Give it a try! As always your mileage may vary.

Shake Shack is a pretty decent burger joint, despite coming from the East coast. The cheese fries are probably their best, while the burgers themselves can be a little salty. If you're looking for the quintessential California burger look elsewhere, like In-n-Out for example. They do offer ice cream mixes for dessert. This store is steps away from Hollywood and Vine Red Line Station so easy access. Tourists abound here.
