(March 3, 2019, 7:45 pm)I love this place my kids love the nachos and they are humongous. My toddler is very picking about her meat and they always cut in perfect size . And the Tortas are just bomb . I love this place

Friendly staff serving great food.
The decor and seating are a little run down though - but it is Sunland, so maybe it does suit the neighborhood well. -

(January 13, 2019, 7:30 pm)Peñas has become a staple food establishment in the Sunland-Tujunga area. Whenever friends visit from out of town, this is the first place I take them. In recent years, prices have slightly gone up, however the food is still very much worth it. The quality of the food is superb and the flavor is always abundant. Plus, they offer a "burrito loco" which is an almost foot long burrito that is always incredibly filling and never a regretful order. Check this place out if you haven't, because it is definitely a diamond in the rough!
