By far my favorite sushi place in the area. They make you feel welcome every time we are there. ALWAYS good food no matter what. We used to live very close and have since move away. Fortunately, we still work in the area and will make it a point to keep coming. Guaranteed a good time and great atmosphere.
Small location and very packed, but for good reason. The service was great and so was the food. We sat at the bar and interacted with the sushi chef who was very pleasant. The food was prepared quickly and exactly how we ordered. They had unique rolls which I had never had before. The prices we also reasonable.
Loooove this place. Extensive menu but I always enjoy the options and fresh fish. Reasonable prices and great happy hours. Literally a great hole in the wall, strip mall that is.
Service is always great, their staff make you feel welcome and food comes out quick. Both Sushi and hot plates are delicious. We used to go to Kabuki-Old Town Pasadena for sushi, but SAKE is our #1 sushi stop now. We prefer it over Kabuki because their sushi taste, freshness and food portions are much better; plus the cost is much more affordable an you get superior food.
First of all, the main issue with Oops is finding a parking spot in their very limited parking lot. They share the lot with two or three other restaurants and a handful of other businesses and small strip mall and it's at the corner of a very busy intersection on Gateway and Barrington so It's Tricky navigating in and out of this lot if and when you can find a parking spot. That's sad, oops is a pretty nice affordable sushi spot to come and relax and have a meal that's prepared with care in a very efficient and quick way. They have a group of chefs who care about what they're doing, seating is limited it's a small place but you will have someone taking your order as soon as you sit down with a smile, and you're very likely to enjoy your lunch or dinner. We frequent Oops, and it's normally very clean, we were there yesterday and the men's room needed some attention, but I'm sure they'll take care of that. They have a pretty decent vegetarian selection, the seaweed salad and the sizzling tofu is pretty good.
