Ate a quick dinner here before our flight at this restaurant inside Los Angeles Airport. The menu had a lot of good choices such as pizza, hamburgers and a large variety of sandwiches.
I ordered a BLT and French Frys (see photo). The prices were typical of an airport restaurant (always more expensive). My husband ordered a bowl of Tortilla Soup, which was a fairly small serving size, and the soup was 'okay', but not good enough that he would order again. The service was good, but not great, and that is the reason for my 4 Star Review. The wait staff wasn't very enthusiastic or friendly. The seating was comfortable, and the music was pleasant (not too loud like the adjacent 'Rock and Roll' restaurant). Overall, we enjoyed our pre-flight meal at this Airport restaurant.
This restaurant serves all of the American staple foods and more. You can choose from salads, burgers, pizza or something more elaborate, like steaks, all at a very reasonable price. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. It's a nice place to relax and grab a bite, a beer, or both; while you wait for your flight.
Experience was okay. They were out of most of the things that the kids would eat that day. My salad was subpar, but the service and our waitress were exceptional. Very apologetic and attentive. I will try them again when back in LAX.
The turkey sandwich was amazing.. as in not 'just for airport food.' Competing against non airport dining: amazing. The price on the Bloody Mary: blood curdling.
We stopped here for dinner while we waited for our flight and everything we wanted to order was sold out. Pizzas and wings were gone and there wasn't enough variety on the menu to really find something else to share. Your options are limited in an airport but would have been nice to be able to order some dinner.
