For the novice like me- their "Little" burger just means single patty. They come plain unless you ask for veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. That was different. Veggies and sauces are free, so I guess that's good??? The meat was quite tasty, but I'm not convinced it's worth the dent in my wallet. $10 for a burger at a fast food joint?? Not the combo, just the sandwich. Order a combo w large fries and drink and you're flirting with $20 PER person. Whoa.

I mean... their fries are good, and their burgers are pretty good, but I got a milkshake because they make a big deal about their variety and quality but I could make a better shake in my sleep. I put the straw in and it was so watery. Ordered chocolate and it literally was vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup... even McDonald’s shakes are thicker...

Five Guys has earned it's place into my top favorite burger places, right after Yaki's and just before Original Tommy's.
I love how much I can fine-tune my burger just the way I like it.
The meat is high quality and good tasting and all the supporting elements are up to the task.

I don't really get the crazy over Five Guys. The burgers are okay, but they're very expensive. You can customize your burger and put a lot of different things on it that is fantastic. The order comes out perfect, the fries are good but not the best. They have peanuts available to snack on while you're waiting. The environment is a little sterile. Not super warm and inviting. Nothing you really feel like hanging around in and enjoying yourself. I just feel that for the money there are better burgers out there. Especially when you're talking about going out with your family to enjoy meal. The environment is a little cold and it's very expensive for very little food.
