The Stalking Horse Brewery & Freehouse

Went to The Stalking Horse Brewery for a big after work group outing! This establishment was more than receptive to have us; after initial planning to have us sit outside due to the massive size of the party - the rain, yes, you heard that right, the rain in beautiful Southern California forced us inside. The staff here was quick to place a few tables together ensuring our group was together for the night!

Now to the food: I had the opportunity to try the buffalo cauliflower, chips, and the two (2) patty Impossible (Vegan) Burger - solid options for sure nothing too underwhelming or outstanding!

The rating of this location is reflective of the service displayed; the food alone would have received a 2.5 rating but due to the staff and impeccable service a four (4) starts is fitting. Well done here team!

It was so tasty. Service is consistently good. This place has a great atmosphere. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

Pleasantly surprised!!! I have been looking at this place for a while, went there to have a quick bite on a Friday night. They brew their own beer, so don't expect to see any of the generic beers there. I had an IPA and it was delicious. I also had a the California burger which is a version of an in n out cheese burger and it did not disappoint. Overall great place and they show soccer games. Also an official Chelsea FC pub. Definitely going back!!

Great Happy Hour prices on very solid beers. $4! Also, great smothered fries and pot pie. Not too crowded, but not empty. A nice night out!

A British pub that actually kinda looks like a British pub. A great range of (mostly English/Scottish/Irish-style) beers brewed onsite. Amazing chips and a selection of mostly veggie or vegan meals. We had 4 or 5 different meals and desserts and all of them were good to outstanding. The chef came out to talk to us and ask us what we thought of the food. All the other staff were also friendly and efficient. All in all, a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.
