Hidden gem in a neighborhood with great Mexican food with awesome flavors.
Fab flavors, loved the Mexican coffee, bit too sweet though. Would have likes a larger table so I could fit all the food I wanted to eat.
Def going back!
I don't want people knowing about this place tbh because it's THE BEST and is every time I go. Good prices for the portions too which you don't see a lot with gourmet. Love it love it love it.
Really solid brunch spot. Probably one of my favorites in Highland Park. I've never been during peak brunch times, so I can't say how bad the wait is then, but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. I always end up conflicted about my food choices here because you can look around at everyone else's food and it all looks good. I've liked everything I've gotten here.
Cute little place that feels very local. Mexican style food although not the type of Mexican you can usually get for these prices. The food felt really fresh and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. I had the savory waffle and asked for my egg scrambled, and it was maybe the best scrambled egg I've had. Not over cooked at all. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The waffle was a bit small, was my only complaint. My husband had the weekend special which he liked, although he complained that the toast didn't come with any butter.
