It’s a very enjoyable Sunday Brunch with good service.
I hadn't dropped into Sycamore Kitchen in nearly 3 years and DAYUM I forgot how good they are! Menu has definitely updated with way more options and the outdoor seating is so perfect in beautiful weather. Loved the Tacos I ordered from their Daily Specials board, just what I was in the mood for.
Well priced, great vibe and good food.
My favorite breakfast item here is the green Chile quiche. Best quiche in town, best creamy texture, it melts in your mouth. Delicious crust. The quality of the food here is first rate.
Cute, hip brunch spot! Prices are fair overall, and the food is solid.
The outdoor patio seating is very pleasant and makes you forget about the other more businesslike storefronts on La Brea.
Beautiful and tranquil outdoor patio space for enjoying a relaxing brunch or lunch.
I was out of work getting my car serviced, so I decided to stop by and check out this place for lunch when it was finished, as I had heard about it and had been wanting to try it out for a while.
It has a beautiful outdoor patio with plenty of seating and shade to go around, and beautiful plants everywhere. It's like a little oasis that makes you forget you're right next to busy La Brea Ave.
Once inside, you order from the counter. For lunch, they had mostly sandwiches, burgers, and salads to choose from. A little bit pricey, but reasonably comparable to similar places in LA.
The inside seating was a bit more cramped and it was pretty loud, so I sat outside in the quiet and lovely patio seating.
I ordered an Arnold Palmer and a fried chicken sandwich, which was the special for the day. They brought the food out relatively quickly, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as a lot of other fried chicken sandwiches I've had in places in LA, but it was a special and it was still quiet delicious.
I loved the peaceful, relaxing outdoor seating here that feels like an escape from the rest of the city, and the tasty, delectable food. I'll be sure to come back and try out some of the other items on the menu soon!
