vegan my thai

This small unique restaurant has variety on its menu. They actually have two full menus one of them being vegan and vegetarian only. I'm not talking about a simple one-page menu. The food was delicious. The place was not crowded as it seemed to do the majority of its business as take out.

Kitchen is a little bit chaotic and understaffed but overall the quality of the food was pretty good and I can't complain about the price. But just like another reviewer wrote... they got pretty busy and I saw a customer to leave because no one was servicing him. Just 1 lady servicing everyone....Definitely understaffed, waited a while for my food but I think it was worth the wait. Very tasty. hope that they are really vegan though... I recommend the peanut Pad Thai or the regular pad thai.

They have two men use one regular and 1 vegan so lots of choices. There was a particularly nice variation to the classic Tom Kah which is a coconut milk soup their shrimps were nice and plump and not overcooked and rubbery and the coconut milk was not watered down like some other ones I've had. They're not afraid to up the spice level and throw Thai chilies and whatever you like plus they have chili oil and other things on the table or that you can ask for it to help kick it up after it gets to the table. Those coconuts come straight from the fridge nice and cold and you can use a spoon afterwards to get the coconut meat out it was great.

Don't let the name fool you they have all types of meats for my fellow meat-lovers. I preordered on DoorDash to have my food delivered to my job during lunch. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and I will definitely be going here for Pad Thai from now on because it was so good and fresh. The chicken pieces were all nice white meat and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The meal was huge, I barely put a dent in it and got full; you can easily make 2 meals out of it. I love spicy food and ordered it spicy and it was the perfect level for me, I did not need to add any hot sauce. The Thai Iced tea with soy milk had a weird taste to me but I will try their original next time. I also got a order of almond cookies that were tasty.
