Fat Sal's Deli

My spot for late night sandwiches. Everything you want on a sandwich put inside. The "fat" sandwiches generally come with cheesesticks, fries, chicken fingers, and other finger foods inside the sandwich. Yes all the side dishes inside. Less work and absolutely delicious.

Was a decent sub... Had the Fat Texas, the sauce was overly sweet, very little meat and loaded with french fries as a filler.

Worst part is the $10 parking.

Fat Sal's have been featured in Triple D's ( Diner, Dive-ins & Dives) by the famous Guy Feiri. So we visited this little place in Westwood and we totally agree that it is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. We tried the Fat Jerry (highly recommended) and since then, we always stopped by to eat here whenever we're visiting our daughter at UCLA.

Always consistent but I honestly like the other location by Hollywood better. Be prepared to have someone hop out to order you food and grab it. Parking around here is a real b!+

Expect great food at Fat Sal's and expect to wait. Everyone with half a brain is ordering so there's usually a line. The staff is AWESOME! They complete more orders in less tine than it takes to yell, "Damn this is GOOD!" Eat here.
