    The smoked dashi was really flavorful and came with great toppings. It's a little salty, but I honestly prefer that with my Sola Japanese Izakaya Dining so it was perfect for me. The noodles were perfectly chewy, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very modern and cool. A great place for Sola Japanese Izakaya Dining in this neck of the woods, and I will definitely come back.

    Food and service 10/10. Atmosphere maybe 7/10 due to and in line with the location. Menu was surprisingly robust with knock your socks off daily specials and fresh fish options. The server was humble, friendly, and knowledgeable, and upon request made excellent recommendations that were more and more on point as he got to know our tastes. Everything we ordered was super, tamago was mind blowing. Take your sweetheart and have an awesome, memorable time. Sola is a gem, no doubt about it.

    Cute little place in Encino with great food. Had a great work meeting. One of the agencies my organization partners with treated my coworker and me to this place. Great service!

    Sola is a great little place we discovered a year or so ago. It's very traditional Japanese but the people there make you feel welcome and love to help if you ask. We will continue to go again and again.
