This place has a fantastic variety of craft beer, with great small bites/plates as well. I had a really good Belgian style Saison, and tasted a collaboration with Anderson Valley they had on tap along with a delicious Belgian Strong ale as well. All were really good. The service was excellent and the craft beer expertise was evident. Try this location in NoHo, I highly recommend it. Parking can be a challenge, however.
Brews Bros is great! Great vibe, good people, and you got to love any place with a Foosball table and a great beer selection. Also, the tuna melt is fantastic.
Our crowd was the party. Place was a little boring. Needs good music. Waiters were cool. Doorman was dope.
This is a brand new place. (Everything is closing down on Lankershim right here.) I went with two friends of mine for lunch. The space is great; lots of nice big windows, beautifully restored brick walls, cement floors, tables lacquered within an inch of their lives.
Very open and inviting. Good sandwiches and charcuterie, beers on tap. Two pool tables, foosball table and big screen TVs for watching games. The televisions don't take over the place, which is nice.
I shall return!
This place definitely has a lot of potential to be a staple here in NoHo! There’s tons of seating and games to play. As far as food there’s a few appetizers and then a variety of sandwiches to choose from. The beer selection is broad however they don’t offer any in-house brews; so it’s not technically a brewery, it’s more of a restaurant that offers craft beers from other breweries. My wife and I got the hummus and toasted pita chips to start off. The hummus was great but the pita chips were tough and chewy. The sandwiches were awesome and I loved that they came with kettle chips (or a salad if you’d like). One thing I found odd was the wooden plates and bowls for all the food. Having worked around food, I know that can often be a cross contamination issue with the wood being porous and absorbing oils and juices from different foods; basically you can’t 100% clean wooden bowls and plates. One thing I do love is the location. There are tons of complexes within walking distance, which is key for the business to survive in this area.
All in all, I think they have a good foundation but could always improve and adapt to the customer base’s liking.
I look forward to going back in a couple months and seeing how they have adjusted after being open a few months!
