Good place to have food. Takes a bot of time for food cause it's almost always full it seems. Good service. Lots of options to choose from as well. Prices are reasonable considering they are based in LA airport, multiple options to pay from cash to card to Apple pay as well.
Probably the best food option in LAX terminal. I've had most of their pizzas, all were good for airport food. Also have had their grilled chicken salad, which was good. Overall easy, fast, good food and beer.
We flew into LAX about 5:15am after a week in Hawaii. We had a few hours to kill before our next flight. Hadn't had pizza in over 7 days and we needed breakfast. Sammy's opened at 5:30am and in addition to some breakfast specialty items, they also had wood fired pizza! How cool is that! The pizza was really good and the breakfast burritos was pretty good too. The bar opened at 6am so a Bloody Mary to wash it all down was icing on cake.
It's airport food. Pizza is good but crust is thick even their thin crust. Beer is super expensive even for airports. $15 for a Imperial pint, 22 oz. On like some airport bars they clean taps on a regular basis. I fly American Airlines so it is my go to place when at LAX.
In this terminal of LAX I feel the food offerings are fairly slim. Thankfully, there's Sammy's! They have a sizable menu with a good variety to satisfy most hungry travelers. Staff is efficient but allow time for real cooking.
