This burrito stand is pretty good for the price and quality. I appreciate that they offer chilaquiles burritos because not a lot of places do in L.A.(that I know of).
The size of the burrito may not be on par with American standards (aka huge, bulk) but it's the quality that matters here. It is the perfect size to fill you up, not making you uncomfortable. In addition, they could easily charge $10 instead of $5 (regular burrito) to $7 (with add-on) given the location.
I also appreciate that their salsa is spicy. It is not watered down and actually has a kick.
The chilaquiles burrito is the winner here. However, they do have papas burritos (potatoes instead of chips) & other offerings.
This is a burrito stand, so there is no outdoor or indoor seating. Cash only. Parking is available in front (metered) or free parking in the residential streets along side and behind.
The burritos are very good, if not on the smallish side - but they're priced right @ $5. There is no seating here - so you're either eating them at home, on the sidewalk, or on the hood of your car. They claim to be open until 2:00pm, but it's a lie - don't come after 1:00pm, chances are they'll be closed or out of food. If they kept the hours they claim, this would be a 4-star review.
Great burritos nothing special except every ingredient is perfect the papa with steak (potato onions egg cilantro) is a great breakfast burrito. The tortillas are crazy good and then I also get the bean steak is great
My oh my, it’s a blessing from the skies.
Start your morning with a Papas Bacon Burrito for $5 and you will be on the path to a successful and fruitful day.
