Pizza is good, will say it’s worth the price. Don’t bring a date here, they will forget their pizza and force you into an awkward situation as they keep stating “it’s in the oven” over the course of 40 minutes.
Update: okay okay, they realized I was upset and came by and apologized. Really love those kinds of moves.
Update #2: manger came up. He said sorry as well and I could tell he meant it. I’ll push it up to five stars now.
Summary: they make good pizza and they own up to their mistakes. Impressed. Officially good date spot.
This place is amazing! Great pizza, great atmosphere, staff is super friendly. Great date spot. And Jesse, the owner takes the time to engage with all of the customers. He really knows how to run a restaurant. We've gotten free dessert samples too. A must visit place in Sherman Oaks.
This is an honest review, Their pizza is really good the ingredients are fresh and the vibe of the place really set the stage for a good time. However the service time had significantly derailed since they open the place, the last 3 times i went there i had to wait more then 40 minutes from the time i arrived until i got my pizza (one time was over an hour). That just blows me away. i mean there is nothing more irritating then to come hungry to a restaurant and have to wait for 40 minutes for food that spouse to be served in 10. And again the pizza is good and the vibe is great just the wait time spoils the party .
Fantastic pizza, fantastic ambience, lovely people at the till and baking pizzas in an open kitchen... And amazing prices for the quality on offer... About $11 per pizza, though you do need to get one whole pie per person.
The double pepperoni and the devil pizza were superb, and can I make a mention of their absolutely sizzling chilli oil? Head to the condiments section to pick one up. Use sparingly if you can't handle the heat!
The restaurant itself has a lovely, open feel to it, the music isn't intrusive and we were able to have a clear conversation through the evening.
We've also ordered from MidiCi, and seen many people queue up for takeout, but I do recommend visiting the restaurant itself as well.
Only disappointment was the white pizza, not as flavorful as their marinara. Nevertheless, MidiCi gladdened the hearts of all us East Coasters longing for real pizza out here in the West!
I LOVE this place! My friend took me here awhile ago and introduced me to this wonderful restaurant. You get line, order what you want and sit. They bring you your food. They have great prices for what you get. The atmosphere is beautiful. It's low lighting and in one section there is a tree with twinkle lights. The owner is amazing, both times I went he came to check on us. The first time he even gave us free tea and free dessert. It's also in a great location if you like to walk and browse.
