    Outrageously good tamales @ $2! I had one with chicken and vegetables, served piping hot - I needed napkins to unwrap. Perfect Masa, nice chunks of shredded chicken with corn, Lima beans and carrots. Red and green salsa complete the dish.

    No parking close by, Metro Gold line stops a block and a half away on Indiana just south of 1st.

    Great tamales. Good prices. Good service. Unfortunately there's no parking so that makes it tricky

    This place is the bomb! Not as cheap as it used to be, but what is!? The quality is top notch, homemade Mexican food. I used to come here way back in the day with a pot and get menudo. Got pozole, enchiladas, ate them there & the tamales we got to go. An iconic legend in East L.A., must visit if you come to L.A.
