As Roger continued his adventure up the mountain, the storm grew on. All he had was his lantern and some supplies in his satchel. The wind blew harder and harder but all Roger could think was, who was the first person to put a cucumber in vinegar then eat it. That baffled him and made him miss the smell of horse dung.
Roger wasn’t always right in the head. He was a little slow, but that’s what made him unique. As a child he would draw the letter Y all over his room and levitate in his sleep. He was special in so many ways.
It’s an alright place. I ordered my food, 3 flapjacks & I had to wait 40 minutes for them to be ready. The people who were behind me in the line received there food first than I did ????????♂️.
Ordered a burger the other day... The meat was medium rare... You guys should ask “how cooked do you want the meat” Medium rare by default.
Ihop pancakes are tastier than these ones.
Amazing food. Would never have guessed that bacon, sausage and pancakes could ever hit this level of flavor. Everything was exceptional down to the water infused with fresh fruit. If you have a family of ten, they have a table for you. If you're solo, there's bar-style seating. Cafe seating for everyone in between. New fave in Van Nuys.
The place is pretty and quiet. A lot bigger than anticipated, the food is very tasty. I enjoyed my time. The price is a little more on to the high end but it could be from the high quality food they produce. A great place to block the world out and have a good tea.
This was an unexpected find on Van Nuys Boulevard. It first caught my eye because the facade was so charming and interesting looking. I thought it might be a farm tool supply company or something of that sort. But no, it turns out that it is one of the most charming restaurants I have been to in a long time. Beautiful, rustic yet elegant decor; friendly staff; varied menu; outlets to plug in and charge your device(s). We were so pleasantly surprised as soon as we walked through the door. And the food! Breakfast all day and I had the Breakfast Scramble which was innovative and super delicious. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the whole experience at this place. They're open till 3 seven days a week. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a pleasing meal. I just might see you there because I will definitely be back. Highly recommend A+++
