Excellent food and service.
Lovely place and great Salvadorian food.
I am a first timer and only had one item off their menu and had it 2 go..I enjoyed it.!
As a Salvadoran-American I grew up on Salvadoran food, I have to say that this is by far the best chicharon pupusas I've had outside my mom's house. On my first visit I order the pan en gallina (roughly translated; chicken on french bread) this was a masterpiece, had the Salvadoran vinegar veggie mix, avocado, slaw and the chicken cooked in a stew... I think it is a stew... its definately not a soup. The only downside of this "sandwich" was the soggyness of the bottom of the bread from adding too much stew over it. If you order this item, I recommend trying each item individually before eating it all together. Although delicious in my opinion. I also tested the pupusas, the chicharon checks out, but if you order it mixed with cheese, the cheese may overwhelm the taste of the chicharon. Of course cheese pupusas are always good.
P.s. before you receive your food, you recieve and cut up hand tossed fried tortilla with a refried bean dip.... this by so far is the closest item that I am accustomed too and fell in love with the memories and taste of the refried beans.
Nice small place but nice. Good tasty food...
