California Chicken Cafe

Staff was friendly and quick ! The build your own salad was so cheap for what you get. You pick 4 veggies, 1 protein and 1 side (the broccoli pasta is amazing). The side of potatoes was boring and flavorless and same with the squash side. The place is big and has a lot of natural light. Parking lot was easy but a bit tight. It was busy with people during lunch time. Loved the concept but didn't enjoy the food too much.

Always fresh, delicious portions, with several combinations available, and tons of drink choices! Only two downsides were the parking (it gets busy during lunch, though finding a table inside is no problem) and the vegetable soup this time had SUCH big chunks of veggies in them... 1-1.5 inch cubes of potatoes and squash.. so it made it difficult to navigate through the soup..

Except for the locked door on the south facing side of the building with no sign (locked because of the strong winds in the area), everything else was great. The combo wrap was perfectly done. I had asked for a little extra dressing on the side and they gave me two small containers. The mashed potatoes were very good - not too creamy.

I've been eating here for a long time and love it. The food is healthy and high quality. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. They mostly have great chicken and lots of side dish options. They also have a large variety of unique iced tea flavors and they taste great. They also have little self serve flavored ices for free. It does get a little crowded but the line moves fast. You get your food in a cafeteria style line and then choose your own table and they bring your food. The cashiers are pleasant and efficient. Their prices are increasing lately but that seems to be everywhere. It costs about $25-30 for two of us to eat here. There is usually a place to park in their lot.

Solid food great broccoli soup thankful they finally brought in iced tea options instead of just soda. This location has a shaved ice machine which is a big hit with the kids. The Chinese chicken salad is delicious. The gravy for the potatoes is super tasty. Always get a good meal here for a decent price. Also blue cheese dressing is the best, love it.
