Good food decent price, order in advance it helps eliminate the wait
Great food the sauce with the sliders was a very good mix coleslaw was nice and fresh fries were perfect nice and seasoned I give this place five stars since everything is great .
No frills street food that's actually pretty great. Not as good as Howlin' Ray's, but a decent approximation of their hot chicken sandwiches and the wait is only the 10-20 mins for them to cook the food. This is a tenders only spot, so your chicken options are tenders, chicken and sliders. The fries and coleslaw were tasty. The medium spice chicken was good, though not as spicy as the medium chicken is at Ray's. I could probably have gone up a spice level and been happier.
The set up is bare bones -- entirely outdoors using folding tables and chairs. The folks there seemed nice, both staff and customers. I'll definitely be coming back.
From time-to-time I'm willing to wait for Howlin' Ray's, and no matter how long the line. I don't complain because it's that good. Ray's is hands down the best fried chicken in L.A. At 9:30 last night I was in the Valley, and Ray's wasn't an option. So I tried Raging Hot Chicken, outdoors in a North Hollywood carwash lot. The menu features fried chicken tenders either by themselves or in a sandwich. Yum! The chicken is cooked to order, which means it is crisp, hot and moist. The breading was tasty. There are five hotness levels. We had medium, and it was spicy without being disabling. The sandwich (with coleslaw and sauce) was large and satisfying. The fries were hot from the fryer, and well seasoned. There are tables and chairs and heaters to offset the January chill. All in all a winner, more than sufficient if you're Jonesing chicken.
Excellent spicy chicken. Frankenfries were awesome. Love little pop ups like this. Don't let the haters and other whiney babies ruin it for you. Form your own opinions. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a late night bite.
