    After going to 2 different places, and they both were on 45 minute wait times, we found Sushi Ran with better reviews, so we gave them a try, the food was great and the fish was fresh.

    This place is pretty awesome. I never knew this place existed until quite recently. I've lived in the area for 20 years and I've never thought to look in this strip mall where they're located. I'm really glad I did. Since going to Japan, I've found a lot of sushi to be pretty underwhelming and saddening since coming back. There's just a freshness thing you can't emulate here, despite being such a coastal area. However this is a really great option that has completely changed my tune about sushi restaurants around here. Good ones DO exist here, and this one is one of them. You just have to look for them. Clean. Good service. Nice people. Good Sake selection. Hot meal options. What more could you ask for?
