This place is OK, not great.

Pros:
Food is good, but a little too spicy for me.
Service was quick.
Place was clean.

Cons:
The area around this place is not that good, area is dirty and beat up, lot of graffiti, did not feel like a safe area to hang out in.

I would not return because of the area, not the restaurant itself.

Food's amazing. Go sit upstairs, it's really weird and cool.
If you get a large, the portions are huge. Got the jerk chicken (fantastic) and the calypso shrimp (a little heavy). Friends got the goat curry (delicious) and jerk shrimp (super good and spicy). Highly recommended.

Truth is, I only come here because its the only Jamaican spot I trust in LA, some of the staff are rude and have attitudes as if me making my order is an enlarged stress in their life.The only reason I go back is because the food is pretty good,definetely not the best but its quality.They have these ginger drinks I'm obsessed with and also the carrot one because its just as good.Sometimes they're out of food which is really irritating, but the food they make is more strenuous to make so I try to excuse it. However I still find it annoying.Their beef patties are my favorite, they are pretty authentic and super delicious.Everyone I know is obsessed with their jerk chicken and Im a fan also.I have bitter sweet feelings for the place but overall its moderate customer service wise but the food is definitely quality.

Have to check this place out the BEST of all Extremely outstanding menu great food great Taste good pricing.
