    Met friends here for late dinner and had Selena as a server. The margarita IS the best in West LA. The beef machaca hardshell tacos were amazing, rice and beans were so tasty, and the carne asada was crispy and delicious. Perfect guacamole. The owner José told us a little about the 60 year history of The Talpa. He's been the third owner of the restaurant for the last ten years and he's doing a fantastic job. Go support The Talpa!

    Love this place favorite chicken picado and guacamole!!!!! Still good even tho changed owners a few years back been going here since the 70's...always reminds me of my grammas cooking!!!!!

    I've been coming here since I was a baby. My mom has been coming here since she was young. Extraordinary food, very authentic atmosphere, great service. A family place.

    The red mole was amazing as were the margaritas. The service was not great so if you're really hungry or in a rush, maybe let them know or try elsewhere. They also need hotter hot sauce. The salsa wasnt hot enough. I would definitely return when I have time for a longer dinner.
