Wonderful food! We need a great Spanish place near the Glendale side of Los Angeles, and Otono is it. Unagi paella is tremendous.

Decided to check this place out. Just went in for cocktails. It was absolutely delicious. Looking for some legit cocktails this place Def has it. Looking forward to having a dinner at the place. FYI this place is Spanish tapas.

More style than substance food wise. Plates are small but that was expected from all the reviews. The tapas were OK but either lacked seasoning or the proportions of elements was off to make them really good.
The paella rice was just sad. Too salty and didn't have that great crunchy rice that is often found at the bottom of good paella.
Cocktails were excellent but this is a restaurant not a bar.

Must better atmosphere than Racion. Be advised, this place is very popular. We came on a Wednesday night with reservation, restaurant was packed. Definitely come during weeknights and come early. Style is Spanish Tapas but it is much more upscale. Expensive. With meal, one glass of wine and shared dessert, expect to pay about $60-80 per person. Food/value ratio is not great but at least the food is very solid. We tried 10 different things are the menu, all very good.

Great restaurant for quality food and drinks, best place for hangouts with family and friends. Magnificent seating arrangements for big and small groups. Fast serving with minimum wait. Live music is played. Very lively place.
