This place is the real deal. A friend took me here after I was out of the country for a couple of weeks and craving some down home 'American BBQ. He said he had just the place and it definitely spot on. We had a combo plate with brisket, pulled pork and rib tips. All three were good, but the brisket took the prize as far as I was concerned.
NOTE: They really pile on the sauce so it may be a good idea to ask for it on the side. Our sides included mac & cheese, collard greens, and cole slaw. The greens definitely stood out among the rest get 'em!
All and all it was a delicious experience and the atmosphere even took me back to my home state of Texas. Just a little place with a window and picnic tables all I need.
