Where have You Been my Whole Life, Joe's Cafe?
Born and Raised in SoCal, namely the San Fernando Valley, and I never knew this Gem was Minutes from my parents' house.
So breakfast was simply Amazing! Got several items between myself and my Business Partner.
Just so you know, they start you off with these scrumptious, soft, delicious Bite Sized Pretzel pieces with two dipping sauces.

Gotta Drive right now, but I will return shortly to exlain the rest of our meal as well as our OUTRAGEOUSLY AMAZING Service by Heather! Heather is The Waitress of Waitresses. The Best of The Best!! Please enjoy the pics for Now...

We went for dinner hoping for breakfast. Anything searched at dinner off the breakfast is the chicken and waffles. We suggested a rotating breakfast menu because I can't be the only one who eats breakfast for dinner. The chicken strips were on the burnt side, my sausage and sun ripened tomato pasta was 'Eh!' Despite that the jalapeno peppers, chicken pot pie, pork chop and burgers were a hit!! I plan to come against try breakfast.

A hipster's hangout. All the cool kids go here and dine at one of the community tables. I've usually gone with a friend and sat privately. They have a few outdoor tables, which I recommend weather permitting, because the music is a little too loud inside. The food is delicious. I've had a salad entree and another night I had a wonderful steak. Even though the food is tasty, it's a little more costly than I would expect with the casual atmosphere. They offer several microbrewery beers and a small selection of wines. I drink red wines, and although their selection is limited, the quality they picked is very good.

One of the first things I noticed upon entering is the warm and inviting atmosphere that makes up this establishment. Parking is conveniently located in the rear and a simple yet effective theme sets in your mind as you go down the ramp to enter and when you do-you find yourself in the complete opposite, which is most pleasant to see how they maintain their style with the exterior paint of the buildings and follow through with the interior in their own expressive ways with the decor and set up. Service is friendly and you are promptly seated and shown a menu.

The food is wonderful, I had ordered the chicken and waffles out of curiosity and was very satisfied with my decision. Chicken was neither dry or undercooked. Beautifully prepared and the presentation of the dish was very eye catching. Chicken is very nicely prepared with light waffles and the contrast of flavors and textures is truly something to be considered divine.

Also ordered their blue cheese Mac n cheese and it was just equally as wonderful. Dish is served piping hot but it looks so appetizing you could hardly wait. Proportions of food is very satisfying. I did not finish the Mac and cheese.

Only reason I give 4/5 stars is due to the ventilation system that they have or should I say, lack. Maybe it was where I was seated but sitting at the bar was warm to the point that it was slightly uncomfortable, and it wasn’t even a hot day. And (again probably because of my seating) we weren’t really asked for what we’d like to order for a while. Nor checked up on after, but nothing serious enough for me to make any genuine complaints. Some people might like that. Price is fair for the type of establishment. Had no issue paying for the quality and quantity of food that was given to us. If you’re looking to just eat at any run of the mill restaurant for lunch, then this isn’t what you’re looking for. But if you’re looking to spend your day with something memorable in your stomach you’ll definitely be coming to the right place. There are those that eat to consume and those that eat to quench their palette for something new and invigorating.

Great food, wonderful service and atmosphere. I came for lunch on a recommendation from a local and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, side of fries and a locally brewed blonde ale appropriately named "Valley Girl".

The sandwich is a must have. Not at all what I expected and I mean that as a compliment! All the food tasted like it was made fresh from scratch with the best ingredients. Beer was delicious and hit the spot! My server was prompt, friendly, checked on me regularly without being intrusive and the atmosphere was chill. Clientele was very diverse! Families, young couples, singles, older, younger, etc.

I will definitely make this a regular stop for me now that live in the area.
