First time here, my Husband's friend recommend this place.
Going to try the triple clam chowder in a bread bowl and the fish n chips. ????
Great quite rainy Sunday afternoon.
UPDATE!
CHOWDER IS GREAT! AS WAS THE FISH N CHIPS ... WILL BE BACK FOR MORE.
The food was as good as you can get. Nice plating, generous, tasty, fresh.... I'm a foodie, I eat everywhere. This is such a fun yummy place. The fried shrimp was killer. You may say, that's easy... Nope, places blow it, but there was fat, rich, not greasy... Omg. The salad was old school beauty. Really a gem in a strange place. Just go!!!
This somewhat hidden barge near the Port of Los Angeles is a fun seafood bar and restaurant. Great chowder, fried clams, ice cold beers. The walls are covered with memorabilia, a real real place!
Was my first time here, people recommend me to try the clam chowder so I order the Double one, comes with fried clams. It was really delicious, fresh clams, dish was like done in same day. Just watch for prices, are around 20% more than the ones showed here. Totally recommend it.
This is a local dive, quirky and eclectic. Nothing fancy but has character. Food is what you would expect with an emphasis on seafood. Known for their chowder. Great fried clams.
