Hands down, best Mediteranean/Lebanese food in town.
This is hands down the best Mediterranean spot for lunch. I don’t even want to write this review because it’s so good, I don’t want it to get so busy I can’t grab a seat. Service is unparalleled for a spot like this, lunch is affordable, the food is always fresh, and the portions are beyond what you’d expect. The place is spotless, and you can see the kitchen is impeccable. They deserve 5 stars and more, and I rarely give a glowing review!
really good chicken shawarma. the cook is a mexican dude. i told them not to add lettuce or tomatoes..
Came here for the first time today. I was very impressed with the quality of meat they have. Meat was very tender and flavorful. Delicious. It was served with my choice of rice, hummus and salad and a delicious side of a grilled tomato. They have very friendly staff. Very cute restaurant. Trendy. TV's on the wall and communal tables. Only thing I would improve is to have a jug of water for customers so we dont have to keep on asking for cups of water everytime we run out especially if the restaurant gets busy. It becomes very annoying to the worker and ourselves to keep asking for a cup of water. Or just make the cups slightly bigger. Besides this I love this restaurant. Definitely will return.
My brother works in a nearby motorcycle shop and Al Basch is his traditional place to go on Thursdays. I've eaten there on previous trips to LA (I live in Austin) and it's always good. Rather than my giving a complete description of what I ate, let me just say that the shawarma is outstanding (along with the sides, of course).
