Great vegan food! The place is owned and ran by an old authentic, silly and kind couple. Lots of great dishes. I love the Kung Pao.

The food is really excellent. When you're a meat-eater trying to being the conversion to vegetarianism, Garden Wok is an excellent "gateway drug."

This place does take "Mom and Pop" dining to an extreme, however. I ordered food for pickup, after perusing their menu online. I was shocked at how great their prices were, but I chalked it up to a lack of pricey meat.

Of course, that wasn't it at all. The discrepancy was because their online menu is more than a decade out of date. The prices are utterly wrong. What I expected to be a $35 order was a $55 order. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt; the folks I dealt with there are no spring chickens (is that inappropriate in the age of PETA denouncing animal-based idiom use?), and it might be a lot to expect them to stay on top of updating their digital presence.

Just be warned. The food is good and the people friendly enough (they offered me a 10% discount for the confusion), but there are gaps in the professionalism.
