    Went in with no real expectations, was very happy with the deluxe sashimi. Was not expecting hotaru ika! Will have to sit down at their bar for an omakse next time.

    The fish was so fresh. The premium hand rolls were delicious. The server took the time to tell us what each roll was. The wasabi was made from a fresh root. It just seemed really legit.

    The best omakase this side of Tokyo. Chef Okumura is a rock star. Come here if you like really tasty sushi without mayonnaise.

    I had the privilege of having Omakase at Akafuji recently. It is not a stretch to say this was one of the best sushi dining experience I've had. Presentation, taste, quality were all top notch in my opinion. Chef Ryota graciously and patiently educated me while serving the food. As a result, I came away with a newly found appreciation for Japanese cuisine.

    Great simple takeout sushi inside a newly built food hall. The nigiri combo came with a Blue Fin Toro!! Rice was on point along with the cuts of each fish. Definitely will come back again and try the other menu items too.
