My favorite place for Bengali delicacies. Whenever I miss my mom's cooking, I come here. They have so many variety of fishes available here. And also Bengali sweets. I loved Golda chingri, loita sutki, pabda maach, Misti doi, fish roll and fresh vegetables.

I must say their sweets taste delicious than others similar places. Now this the only place I buy sweets, they are 40 min drive from my place but worth it. It reminds me of Pakistani sweets.

First time to try this place. Ordered Mutton Curry ($5.99) + Fried Rice ($2.99) to go. The mutton curry is so good. It’s very oily but if you mix it well to get more of the good stuff in the sauce, it’s tastes so good. The portion is quite generous. I love that some portion of the mutton are the fatty parts. Spice level is mild. Perfect enough to make you want to eat more of their rice. I would get the regular steamed rice next time as the fried rice isn’t really fried rice. They just added a little amount if the orange stuff and some spices on top of the white rice and that’s it. $1 additional charge. All in all, it was a good meal. I would come back to try their biryani and other curry dishes.

Aladin Sweets & Market Inc. is a Bangladeshi restaurant in downtown LA. We came here a couple of times. Their food is so good, with a few exceptions. I would recommend you to try their Biryani Chicken, Kachchi Biriyani, Tahari, Chicken Roast, Beef Curry, Chicken Puff, Chicken Samosa, Lassi, and Borhani. If you are a fan of Bangladeshi desserts, you can try their Roshgullah, Rasmalai, Laddu, and Doi. The price seems a little bit high. Their overall service is also pretty good. However, the parking to this place is tricky. There is a very narrow space through which you need to go behind the store.
